If you have a ringing in your ears that just doesn’t seem to want to go away you may have a common condition called tinnitus. Tinnitus is describes as an acute ringing, whooshing audible sound that only the person affected can hear. Do not fear though there is something to help remedy ringing ears.
Tinnitus can be caused by a number of different things such as long exposure to loud noises like concerts. It can also be caused by the medications you take, a buildup of ear wax, or even stress caused to the ear drum.
To remedy ringing ears you can take several approaches, my favorite one is a mixture of herbal at home remedies for tinnitus. These are my favorites because they do not require any long uncomfortable sessions with a specialist.
Anti depressant drugs and antihistamines are good for tinnitus because they alleviate the neurotransmitters to the brain. Benadryl, Claritin, and Allegra are all good choices.
There are also herbal teas that you can make by combining Wild Hyssop, Ginkgo Biloba, and Rosemary. These have the same effect on tinnitus as the antihistamines. Although these remedies are only temporary, they get the job done.
If these simple remedies don’t work because your case of tinnitus is too great then there are some more aggressive tinnitus treatments that you may want to look into. But if you are just realizing you have tinnitus it still may be time to salvage your hearing with these simple remedy for ringing ears.
